Mini Cup and Straw Training System
Designed by a pediatric feeding specialist, the Cup and Straw Training System teaches toddlers to drink from an open cup and safely learn to use a straw. Learning to drink from a straw is an important developmental milestone that develops lip rounding and promotes speech development. • The straw is slightly curved, promoting lip and jaw closure for safe sipping. Sensory bumps around the top of the straw provide tactile awareness to activate lip rounding and decrease tongue suckling. Short straw length helps strengthen breath support and encourages nose breathing. Bringing the cup to the mouth is made easier with the non-slip silicone grip. Interior angle provides even flow for safe drinking. Weighted base and tactile bumps provide stability and sensory awareness to decrease spills. The rounded cup lid has sensory bumps that improve grip for removal. • Cup and straw are made of 100% food grade silicone that is free of BPA, BPS, PVC, phthalates, lead and latex.
