How to Place an Order

Please note: We currently accept orders only from the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, and FPO/APO addresses.

Ordering by Phone
You can place your order by telephone. Please call our customer service line toll-free at 1-877-428-1244. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, Pacific Time. If you wish to call at any other time, please leave a message on our voice mail system, and we'll call you back as soon as possible. For speedy ordering, please have the item numbers ready when you call. If you have any questions about any of our products, please don't hesitate to ask. Orders placed over the phone do require payment by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards.
Ordering Online
To start an online order, browse the product categories or use the search box to look for what you need. When you find an item you want to order, click on the "Add to Cart" button next to it. You may then change the quantity or go back to shopping for more items. To place your order, go to the View Shopping Cart page, click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button, and follow the prompts.
Ordering by Mail

We also accept orders by mail. For mailed orders, please be sure to include with your order either a check, money order, credit card information or a formal purchase order from your organization (more info). If you need a printed order form, you can download the PDF version of the order form here or ask us to fax/email it to you. If you already know what you wish to order, you can add all items to your online shopping cart and print an order form, directly from our website (see the Printer Friendly Copy of Your Cart link in your shopping cart). This printed form will also include the list of items that you selected, for your convenience.

If your purchasing department must have an invoice in order to be able to cut a check, please let us know. We can fax/email you a proforma invoice right away.

Paying by Check or Money Order
We accept payment be check or money order. Please make checks payable to "Beyond Play". Orders prepaid by check or money order must be sent by mail (see mailing instructions above).
Purchase Orders
We accept purchase orders via fax, email or mail from schools, school districts, government agencies, hospitals, and businesses. Please call our customer service line at 1-877-428-1244 if you have any questions. If you need to provide your puchasing department a list of the items you wish to order, please note that you can add all these items to your online shopping cart, and then print your shopping cart in a printer friendly form directly from our website (see the Printer Friendly Copy of Your Cart link in your shopping cart).

Shipping costs to the continental U.S. is shown in the table on the right.
Deliveries to PR, GU,VI and FPO/APO addresses: For orders up to $160 shipping is $47.95. Between $160 and $500 shipping is 30%. Between $500 and $1,500 shipping is 25%. Between $1,500 and $2,500 shipping is 20%. Over $2,500 shipping is 15%.
Shipping costs to Alaska and Hawaii depend on the size of the box and therefore on the selection of products. The shipping charge to these destinations cannot be calculated on our website. If you place an order online we will contact you back with shipping charge. We will not charge your card or ship your without your approval of the total. If you plan to send a purchase order or a check, please call, email or fax us for a freight quote.
We work hard to try to keep all of our products in stock. In-stock items ship via UPS Ground within 48 hours of receiving your order. Once shipped, delivery takes 2 to 6 business days in the continental US, depending on your location. Certain large items, which will be marked in your shopping cart as Dropship items, are shipped directly from the manufacturer and will be delivered to you within 2-3 weeks. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii ship via UPS. Orders to Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands and FPO/APO addresses ship Priority Mail via the US Postal Service.
Returns
You may return any item within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. To return merchandise, please call us at 1-877-428-1244 to obtain a return authorization number and the address for returns. A return authorization number is necessary in order to credit you for the return. When you call, please have your invoice number available. Restocking fee of 15% may apply to returns of large, drop-shipped items.
Redeeming Gift Certificates
Beyond play offers gift certificates. If you received one and would like to redeem it, you can provide your gift certificate number during the checkout process. The amount of the gift certificate will be applied toward the grand total of your order. You will then be able to preview your order before submitting it. If the certificate amount is higher than the grand total, you will be able to apply the remaining balance toward future orders. If the certificate amount is lower than the grand total, you will need to provide credit card information for payment of the difference. If you wish to redeem more than one gift certificate on the same order, you would need to place the order over the phone. Please call our customer service line at 1-877-428-1244.

Our president and founder, Orna Maoz, has worked as a speech-language pathologist in early intervention programs for many years. She founded Beyond Play with the goal of providing a carefully curated selection of products to therapists, teachers and caregivers who work with or care for young children. The products that we decide to carry go through a careful review process, including by our team of consultants, all professionals who work with young children.

Beyond Play is committed to protecting the information you provide us. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, Beyond Play has in place appropriate physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

We use high level Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as credit card information and address information. SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but us. This security measure is working when you see either the symbol of an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser) on the bottom of your browser window.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you ship to FPO/APO addresses?
  Most items can be shipped to FPO/APO addresses. Large items which ship directly from the manufacturer cannot be shipped overseas. To determine the availability of an item, click on the "Add to Cart" button next to it. On the "Your Shopping Cart" screen, enter FPO or APO as the city, and click "Update".
Can orders be shipped to foreign countries?
  We regret that we are not able to ship orders or send catalogs to foreign addresses at this time. The only exceptions are FPO/APO addresses. If you have friends or relatives in the US, you may wish to request that they place an order on your behalf. We do plan to expand our coverage in the future. Our international service will be available here on our web site.
Can I receive free copies of your catalog to share with colleagues and clients?
  Our catalog is free of charge. We will be glad to send you extra copies to be shared with others. Please call or email us with the number of copies you need and the address to which they should be sent. We would be grateful if you could mention how these copies will be used.
Is there a minimum order?
  For orders that ship to a residential address there is a minimum order of $25. Please keep in mind that there is a minimum shipping charge of $9.95 since UPS charges for one pound even if your order is very small.
What forms of payment are accepted?
  For online and phone orders, or when you send us an order by fax, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards. When ordering by mail, we accept also payment by check or money order. We accept purchase orders by fax, email or mail.
Is my personal information and credit card number secure? Will it be shared with any third party?
  Any information you provide us is secure and will not be shared with any third party. Please see our Privacy and Security statement.
How can I cancel an order?
  To request cancellation of your order please call our customer service line with your order confirmation number as soon as possible (1-877-428-1244). Please keep in mind that we cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped. If a package is in transit when your request is made, cancellation of this order will not be possible. Refusal of delivery will not prevent original shipping charges and return shipping fees.
How do I know that you received my order?
  The confirmation number you receive at the end of the checkout process confirms that we received the order. Please keep a copy of this number for your records. If you provide us with an e-mail address, we will also send you a brief confirmation e-mail.
Do you charge sales tax on orders?
  Tax is charged only on deliveries in California. If your order is shipping to an address in any other state then tax will not be added to your order. If you are an organization in California which is tax exempted please let us know and we will not add tax to your order.
